CSI camera max resolution & FPS

How are you?

I have questions related to 1920x1200 60Hz CSI camera support.
If so, I want to connect 3 camera systems into TX2 board.

Please let me know how to input 3 1920x1200 60Hz CSI camera systems.

Thanks
SI J. KIM

Hi santa_kim,

Each CSI lane of TX2 can support up-to 2.5Gbps, and can have the three 4 lanes configurations for CSI camera support, that’s not an issue to meet your 3 1920x1200 60Hz requirement, you can refer to Jetson Camera Module Hardware Design Guide to build yours, see https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/downloads#?search=camera

Besides, we also enabled camera partners to support customer to develop their products, please find their information from https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/community/partners

Thanks

Just of curiosity.

What if to detach csi adapter + ov5693 camera from a devkit board and attach it to a devkit board that has ov5693?

I am just windering if the latter will work with two default onboard devkit cameras,

and if there a way to order the default “onboard devkit camera with the csi adapter”.

Thanks

However, Display connector and Camera connector appear to have different processing functions, though look the same. Hence it wont work with the default adapter board with ov5693 attached to the display connector port, in my opinion.

Thanks for your reply.

My application does not use normal camera.
I want to input 3 DVI video sources having 1920x1200 60Hz as followers,
3 DVI Output devices → 3 FPGA[DVI to CSI-2 Converter] → TX2[3 channel HVC Encoders] → Network Streamming.

Can I get the information on there’s no problem or not in implementation.

Thanks.

They’s no problem for this case. But the streaming to network need some software implement by yourself.
