I finally got CUDA 9.1 and driver 390 installed on Ubuntu 18.04 host and Ubuntu 18.04 LXD Linux container. I am trying to compile “dlib” with GPU support. I requires cuDNN. BUT cuDNN does not support 9.1, it supports 9.2 and 9.0.

I have the same issue, however, I managed to install the 9.0 version, and that went fine. But I am unable to install tensorflow
