I saw on a post that some features of CUDA 7.5 were backported to the Jetson TX1’s version of CUDA 7.0, but it wasn’t clear what exactly. Can cuSPARSE be used on the TX1?
What’s the post link that you saw?
Please help to provide more info for internal checking.
It was just another forum post: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/904664/cuda-7-5-for-tx1/ I couldn’t find any other documentation about what exactly is supported on the TX1.
Thanks for the help.
For your question -“Can cuSPARSE be used on the TX1?” Yes, it’s supported in CUDA7.0, you could get more details by referring to CUDA_Toolkit_Release_Notes.pdf http://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/cuda/7_0/Prod/doc/CUDA_Toolkit_Release_Notes.pdf
The CUDA7.0 Toolkit(inlcuding cuSPARSE) is supported for L4T r23.1 on TX1 platform.
