Deepstream-app running on dGpu (RTX2080) shows black screen

Hi,

I’m running deepstream-app -c /opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream-4.0/samples/configs/deepstream-app/source4_1080p_dec_infer-resnet_tracker_sgie_tiled_display_int8.txt
and I see a black window opens up and no output video from the deepstream-app. On the console, I see the following:

amer@amer-desk-pc:~$ deepstream-app -c /opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream-4.0/samples/configs/deepstream-app/source4_1080p_dec_infer-resnet_tracker_sgie_tiled_display_int8.txt

Then nothing happens, no update on console or window (window stays black). In a few minutes, I see Segmentation fault (core dumped). Any clues?

If I switch the type of sink to FakeSink instead of EglSink, it runs fine.

Good to know it works, thanks for sharing.

I am doing the same thing
changed to source0 type to RTSP
changed sink0 to fakesink=1
still getting error

I am using

OS type= 64 bit

How about you try with default video and fakesink?
