Deepstream composer pipeline debug

• Hardware Platform (Jetson / GPU)
• DeepStream Version
• JetPack Version (valid for Jetson only)
• TensorRT Version
• NVIDIA GPU Driver Version (valid for GPU only)
• Issue Type( questions, new requirements, bugs)
• How to reproduce the issue ? (This is for bugs. Including which sample app is using, the configuration files content, the command line used and other details for reproducing)
• Requirement details( This is for new requirement. Including the module name-for which plugin or for which sample application, the function description)

I created a deepstream application using the graph composer tool. The pipeline reads a video file and performs chained inferences on each frame. At the end of my pipeline I have an OSD and a Rendering component and I am able to see the output of my application in a window. However, I would like to be able to see the metadata added by each inference component. My first thought was I should add a probe and connect it to the output of the first inference component, a probe which would just dump the metadata in the console. I was unable to find a probe that is able to do this for me and I am not sure what should I do now. Should I try to create a custom extension that dumps the metadata described here or what is a go-to method in my situation?

Thank you

Yes. You need a customized extension for the probe function.
