Deepstream didn’t work when some rtsp source invalid

Please provide complete information as applicable to your setup.

• Hardware Platform (Jetson / GPU) AGX
• DeepStream Version 5.1
• JetPack Version (valid for Jetson only) 4.3
• TensorRT Version 7.1
• NVIDIA GPU Driver Version (valid for GPU only) 10.2
• Issue Type( questions, new requirements, bugs)

when i add two rtsp stream on deepstream-app, when the two sources is valid it work well, but when one is valid and
the another is invalid , deepstream can not work well on the valid stream , there is no stream output.

• How to reproduce the issue ? (This is for bugs. Including which sample app is using, the configuration files content, the command line used and other details for reproducing)
• Requirement details( This is for new requirement. Including the module name-for which plugin or for which sample application, the function description)

I use rtmp sink as the stream ouput.

This is my config, source1 is invalid stream, source0 is valide.

The deepstream-app is designed to work in this way.

Please check the bus_callback() function in /opt/nvidia/deepstream/deepstream/sources/apps/sample_apps/deepstream-app/deepstream_app.c. When the bus received error message, the pipeline will quit.

If you need special processing for the error message, you can implement your own logic.

We hope that deepstream can work normally when there is a rtsp invalid. when we change rtmp sink to rtsp sink, it will work normally. we want the rtmp sink will work normally.

Thanks.

We don’t have such sample now.

I want to ask if I process 16 video streams, how can I push out the video stream ?do you have any suggest ? now i use rtmp sink to push out the stream.

It is possible to use sink from deepstream sample app: Frequently Asked Questions — DeepStream 6.1.1 Release documentation

The detail implementation can be found in function create_sink_bin inside sources\apps\apps-common\src\deepstream_sink_bin.c

What do you mean by “push out the video stream”? You can save the output video as video files, you can send the output video as network video streams, you can display the output video on screen, … What you can do dependents on your decision.

For rtmpsink, please refer to gstreamer document rtmpsink (gstreamer.freedesktop.org)
