deviceQuery run error

Hello,

I am new to Cuda. This is first time I install Cuda but I am not sure whether I install correctly or not.
I follow steps until “find and run deviceQuery”, defined in
http://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/cuda-installation-guide-linux/index.html#ubuntu-installation

While running the deviceQuery, I got error as follows:

./deviceQuery Starting…

CUDA Device Query (Runtime API) version (CUDART static linking)

modprobe: ERROR: …/libkmod/libkmod.c:514 lookup_builtin_file() could not open builtin file ‘/lib/modules/4.10.0-28-generic/modules.builtin.bin’

-> unknown error
Result = FAIL

My OS is Ubuntu 16.04
Cuda ver. 8.0
cnDNN ver. 6.0

Any help is appreciated!

thanks

maybe you don’t have a NVIDIA GPU

I have NVIDIA Titan X

But I think I was executing deviceQuery in wrong folder.
Now I run it in the correct location and I get result = pass.
thanks
