DGX Spark Release Updates?

The Microcenter experience was incredibly positive. Our local store sold out of 26 units on Wednesday and has already received a small backfill (that is also about to sell out).

Hopefully between the Nvidia store backlog and Microcenter everyone on this forum that preordered can get a unit fulfilled soon!

I understand that UK roll out is slower but it has been a full 4 days from the launch now and I reserved on 18 MARCH, R3xxx, through NVIDIA. Will we be provided an update on when I can expect an e-mail to purchase the ASUS Ascent GX10?

Thanks

You could check the ASUS Webshop in the UK. As for Germany the Ascent GX10 can be ordered in their shop. Currently the next units will be available after 3rd of November (Germany). The first batch was reported to be sent out after the 20th of October.

I also reserved the ASUS box back in March. Got no invite to order yet by NVIDIA Marketplace, but from ASUS directly. I assume that I got notified, because I attended their Spark webinar back in September.

ASUS Webshop is still in Notify Me mode in the UK. I also attended the webinar. I never signed up with ASUS for a reservation though. Only worked through NVIDIA.

I’ve been waiting for this thing for months and it is very frustrating no one can tell me what the hell is going on. I mean, with a reservation number like R3xxx I thought I wouldn’t have to wait long if at all after launch…

That’s unpleasant. Plan C could be Dell. Dell Pro Max with GB10 can be ordered via Dell Shop, too. Tested the UK version. And it seems to be available.

Listed availability is 24 October - 4 November for the 4 TB version.

I’m also in the R3xxx range with my reservation. I used the ASUS Webshop, because I would like to test one before Xmas.

Thanks! Both the 2TB and the 4TB options are significantly more expensive than the Ascent.

Even if that weren’t the case, it’s just extremely shitty that my very early registration essentially meant nothing. I’ll be waiting for my reservation one way or another on principle, and I’ll just give up hope at one point.

I’m seeing folks in EU saying that this mid-Oct “round” has closed for the reservations and the next one is assumed to be mid-Nov?

I sure hope that’s not the case, as one should have bought the DGX Spark Bundle from the Microcenter before they sold out if we’ll have to wait another month while folks that didn’t even reserve, got theirs …

Where did you see that? In here I have only seen EU customers that are still waiting to get an invite to buy one. 😔

And just now I saw invites for UK that cannot be claimed, because the Founders Editions are out of stock. 🤯 And the order window is closing for them. I didn’t expect it could get worse…

May be it works for the majority. 🤷‍♂️ Would love to hear from ppl in the EU that it just worked.

US customers with Bundle reservations have been sitting in “wait” mode for quite a while now and I’m about to pass out holding my breath. Wait, we weren’t supposed to hold our breath?

Any updates? I was a first day reservationist so I will speak up if I ever get the buy option (so others know it has begun). I can currently pick up units at Micro Center, but that would not include the connection cable (and I want to have the right cable).

What on earth is happening with shipping the stacked bundle? Why has there been no advance communication about these reservations being handled differently from single units? Why should I wait instead of running to microcenter? What is even going on here?

My reservation number is low, R15XX, I ordered the bundle, I can literally just click the Add to cart button on NVidia’s site but still haven’t received my pre-order email, Is my pre-order any different from what I can order on the site now? If not, what was the point of a pre-order? And why have I still not gotten my email?

Agreed, my reservation number is just above R1500, still no order email, I do R&D for one of the largest MSSP’s in the US, I ordered 2 of these to test with thinking that might even give me priority, but now leadership is asking where the hardware is, because they see it’s available “in store”, so I’m just sitting here looking like an idiot, not to mention if everything worked out I’d need to heavily invest in more for all of our locations across the US, but this experience has really soured me on NVidia, I’m going to start looking at alternatives, I know there is a difference with unified memory systems, but AMD/Mac are looking better by the day.

I just got my Buy Now enabled for the Bundle. I live in the USA with rev range just under R3000.

I hope others who are eligible (in a supported country), also got the email & buy option.

I got my email for the bundle too and the “add to cart” has been in a perpetual loop.

Clicking on the Support takes me to my reservation > Buy Now > Add to cart > Looping Screen

Anyone else with the same issue?

I had that too (though my order was for the single unit and not the bundle). I assumed it had to do with browser extensions/settings. I switched to a different browser (DuckDuckGo) to complete the order and everything worked without a hitch to complete the order.

I hope you have a good experience with your bundle.

Like @evolvingtech mentioned, try different browsers (I’ve heard 2nd hand that it can help, seek topics in these forums for more info). For me it worked on the latest version of Chrome on a Windows machine.

Did you end up with your order going through?

My reservation number is in the 3xxx range.

NVIDIA Customer Support just sent me the below response, word for freaking word, I ■■■■ you not.

“Please be informed that making a reservation does not guarantee an invitation to purchase. The invitations are being sent out in batches by the concerned team.

If you haven’t received your invite yet, there’s no cause for concern — your account remains eligible, and you may still receive an invitation in one of the upcoming batches as they are released.”
