driver problem for Cuda 1.1

Hello,

I am a beginner and i have a problem. I want to install the driver of CUDA 1.1 Beta for windows xp :
NVIDIA Driver for Microsoft Windows XP with CUDA Support (169.09).

But i have a error message (i have attached the message in french), it says :

The software you are installing for :
NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GTX
has not been validated during the permanent test allowing to get the windows logo and verifying its compatibility with Windows XP.

I discarted the message, however the software has been installed and after having restarted again my computer, i have some problems with windows.

What should i do ?
Do i absolutely have to install this driver ?
Should i install CUDA 1.0 ?

In fact, often when i switch on my computer, it stops by itself after few seconds. And a message appears :

"A problem has been detected and windows has been stoped to prevent any damage on your computer.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA

If you see this screen at the first time, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these instructions.
Make sure all hardware and software are correctly installed. If it’s a new installation consult your manufacturer in order to get windows updates you need.

Perhaps the problem comes from windows, i have windows LSD, is it enough for CUDA 1.1 ?
Besides do i need a SP2 ?

Windows LSD is not supported.
You will need Windows XP SP2.

I have now Windows XP SP2 but i have the same problems.

What sould i do ?

The problems you’re describing don’t sound like they’re related to CUDA at all. You should probably report them to whomever built your computer.
