on the download page NVIDIA OptiX™ Downloads | NVIDIA Developer
its stated that it Requires NVIDIA R555 driver or newer,
while here in the “OptiX 9.0 Release” post
it says: NVIDIA OptiX 9.0.0 requires that you install an R570+ driver
as it does in the Release Notes.

Some new users may be confused.

Yes, thank you! The requirement is in fact 570, so the download page is currently wrong.

Edit: it is fixed now.
