Hi!
I recently built a workstation with dual RTX 4090 FE cards, both plugged into PCIe Gen4 x8 ports from CPU. The system runs Ubuntu 22.04 (6.5.0-21-generic) with nvidia-headless-545.
Weird (maybe not) thing is that idle power consumption vary between the cards. Sometimes as much as 10W (4W vs 14W). Moreover, nvidia-smi -i X -q shows that top card draws 890.000 mV at idle while bottom card uses 895.000 mV which do not change between different power cycles.
Is it just silicon lottery or should I be worried?
Best,
