When launching emacs from WSL2 on Windows 11 in a separate window, its performance is sluggish. There is a noticeable delay between pushing a key and emacs displaying it.
This happens for both the latest Game Ready and Studio NVIDIA drivers. It doesn’t happen when I use the default driver coming with Windows 11.
I’ve tried both emacs-lucid and emacs-pgtk; there is no difference.
Is there a way to configure the NVIDIA driver to make the sluggishness go away? Alternately, can I tweak the Linux configuration in WSL 2?
System:
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Windows 11 24H2
WSL2: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
