Export NVIDIA Control Panel Global Settings

Following my other post regarding setting the NVIDIA Control Panel Settings ( Nvidia Control Panel CLI \ API Change) I wanted to ask about exporting NVIDIA Control Panel Global Settings.
This superuser post How to backup Nvidia Control Panel preferences? - Super User suggest exporting the settings by copying nvdrsdb0.bin, nvdrsdb1.bin, nvdrssel.bin from C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs (or the entire Drs folder) before installing the Nvidia GPU driver and then copying the files to Drs folder.

  1. Are there any drawbacks using this approach? can we break \ make things unstable?
  2. Can we copy those files to other PCs that have the same OS (Windows 10 in our case), GPU card & driver, and CUDA version (11.8) so will have the same Nvidia Control Panel settings?
  3. Are there any other concerns we should be aware off?

Any insights?
