I have a Razer Blade 2018 Base model with one mini display port and a HDMI port. When using the linux beta driver and connecting a external monitor I can see the ports being activated and a monitor listed in the nvidia-settings application. But I can’t make anything actually be displayed on these ports/devices. It works fine with the nouveau driver so I know the ports/devices are ok.
Is this a limitation of the beta-driver or?
It’s a limitation of the render offload feature. The normal PRIME output should still make the external connectors of the nvidia gpu available.
Is it something that can and will be fixed or?
To resume normal PRIME operations I just remove the
Option "AllowNVIDIAGPUScreens"
directive or?
Don’t know what OS you’re running but you should better remove the complete xorg.conf.
