I love the Full Viewport mode now that I know about it (F7). Is it possible to show the Pause/Play button and the Stop button or a mini version of the timeline while in this mode?
Thanks

@DataJuggler search for Kit Timeline Minibar
in extension manager and install/activate it:
the mini timeline will appear upon mouse hover near the bottom center of the viewport as indicated below:
Thank you.
You can just hit spacebar to play / pause.
OK, thanks. The Frame # is the biggest thing I wanted. I enabled the Mini-Timeline extension, but didn’t know how to use it.
with the mini timeline, you could click and drag the thicker white line (see image below) left or right to move the playhead backward or forward. the number in the middle of the timeline bar shows you the exact frame you are on. the numbers off the either side represents the timeline start and end frame, which you can alter by modifying it to lengthen/shorten your animation length.
whatever works for your needs. lots of options.
You can also customize anything you want in the kit file and the in the UI. Here is a video of me removing everything but the timeline, so then you can run your animation with the full normal timeline, without having to hit F7. If you assign it to a “quick load” option you can bring it up very quickly just by hitting Ctrl+8
