Flash Jetson Orin Nano on Hadron Carrier Board

Hi all!
I’m facing some issue and I’m searching for feedbacks if possible!
I’ve bought a Hadron Carrier board and a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB to mount on it. Then, I’ve also purchased a SATA III M2 SSD.
Based on what I’ve searched on the manuals of the Hadron Carrier board about the flash of the machine, an NVMe is used for the flash.
My question is if it is possible to execute the flash of the machine (only OS not SDK components at the moment) using this setup.
Using the script for the flash:

sudo nvidia/nvidia_sdk/JetPack_5.1.1_linux_JETSON_ORIN_NANO_TARGETS/Linux_for_Tegra/cti-flash.sh

I got an error that is the same of this topic (the one at the beginning): https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/update-our-own-orin-board-failed-but-update-the-attached-demo-orin-board-success/221189

Is some other possible solution or should I purchase a NVMe as suggested by the Hadron Carrier board manifacturer?

Thanks so much!

Hi utente1161,

It seems you are using the custom carrier board for Orin Nano.
What’s your Jetpack version in use?

Yes, the flash command would just flash the BSP to the board w/o SDK components(they could be installed after boot up with apt command).

Are you using the custom BSP package from your vendor to flash the board?
Please share the exact command you used to flash the board and also the full flash log for further check.
