Hi there, I bought NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ Nano 8GB for high school student ROBOT project from your website. But the product is without any documents. How to make it work? where I should put it on? On any carrier board like this “Carrier Board for Jetson Orin NX/Orin Nano” ? Can you give me suggestion or documents how to make the students start their AI ROBOT development journey or how to study your SDK from this product? Thanks.
Jetson’s Orin Nano carrier works with Orin NX and Orin Nano SOM; the flash process changes from one to the other but it is quite similar. For instance, I will explain the steps for the Orin Nano SOM:
First, I would start getting the SDKManager, which is the tool that is used to flash the device (it can also be done via terminal commands but it is easier doing it on a GUI). To do this, you could follow RidgeRun’s developer web page: NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano - Getting Started.
If possible, try having a physical Ubuntu machine and not a virtual machine. Several users have issues when working with a VM.
After installing the SDKManager you could follow our flashing steps: NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano - Flashing the board using GUI Installer to install things into your device. Please set the board into recovery mode before trying to flash it in order to get the flash to work. Check the following example to understand how to do it: NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano - Cmd Flash.
Once the flash is successful, you can enter the device by any of the methods mentioned here: Getting into the Board.
I hope this helps you. If you have any other question, don’t hesitate to ask.
