I have a Jetson Orin Nano and got half way through the microSD-only method only procedure for flashing the device which calls for first booting the JetPack 5.1.3 SD card to schedule firmware update.
I reached the portion of the tutorial where:
"Once the update is done, it reboots and tries to boot, however it will get stuck UNLESS you change the SD card to JetPack 6.x one .
Therefore you should just power off the developer kit simply by disconnecting the DC power supply."
Since this point the device has not booted.
In an effort, to troubleshoot. I followed some forum advice to adjust BIOS Settings.
I have now tried to use the sdk manager via WSL Ubuntu 22.04 to flash the device directly with the device in recovery mode (with pins 9, 10 grounded) with no luck.
I am able to download the jetpack image via the sdkmanager, however the sdkmanger cannot locate the device.
I am unable to locate the device either wit ‘lsusb’
Is it possible that the device was permanently corrupted during the initial jetpack load? Is there any way to either completely reformat the device so that it boots with original default settings, and/or to confirm that the device is damaged?
Or documentation for attaching the USB device to the linux distro from windows manually?
Thanks,
