Flash QSPI without host device

We would like to flash Jetson Orin NX devices without requiring a Linux host system.
Therefore we just want to boot a setup system from a USB drive and then let this system flash the image onto the device.
Flashing the SSD without a host system seems to be possible.
Though what we are not sure about is the QSPI on the Jetson Orin NX module.
Is it possible to flash that without an external host system?
If so how?

Jetsons don’t have a BIOS. They have the equivalent in software…which happens to be the QSPI. Without a BIOS Jetsons cannot self-flash. A host PC is mandatory.

Thank you for the valuable information.
Follow-up question: Can a Jetson self-flash its QSPI after the QSPI was flashed once with a “BIOS”.

No. The QSPI is flashed in recovery mode, and this implies a special boot mode that turns the Jetson into a custom USB device. USB devices are not hosts (e.g., a keyboard is a device…even if a keyboard had firmware, it wouldn’t be able to flash itself).
