Flashing Jetpack 5.1.3 into SSD with SDKmanager

Hi, I am trying to flash my Jetson Xavier Nx Developer Kit with Jetpack 5.1.3 utilizing SDK Manager directly into my Nvme ssd drive. The process finishes succesfully and the Jetson boots normally initially, however, A message with “nvidia-l4t-bootloader post install notification. reboot is required to complete the installation” keeps popping up. As I saw in a different forum, the problem could be fixed by doing sudo apt upgrade, however when I do this, The Jetson does not initalizes, stays in bash and gets really hot.

Is it a problem with how it is flashed? Do I need and extra step with an SD card? Is it not recommendable to use the ssd as the booting option for this board? Thanks in advance

Please make sure an SD card is inserted as parts of bootloader is stored in the SD card.

Got it, and do I have to flash it too or only the ssd in this case?

It should be flashed as well within the same operation.

So the sdk manager does all the work in one operation right? Justo to be sure

Ideally YES.
