Flashing Jetson Xavier NX 8GB fails - Invalid value MemBct dram size: 0MB for slot: 0

Hi,

We have Jetson Xavier NX 8GB modules production line using JetPack 4.6.1 that is working more than 2 years now.

Recently we have received new Jetson Xavier NX 8GB modules and when trying to flash them, we get the following error from the flash.sh script:

Here is a full log of the flash.sh command:
log.txt (40.1 KB)

The following are images of the “Working” modules that we are able to flash correctly:

And the following are images of the modules that we are unable to flash and getting above the flashing errors:

The only notable difference we can see is the Micron RAM chip series.

We would appreciate your help in figuring it out.

Thanks,
Ben

That seems to be related with Jetson Xavier NX PCN 210641 BOM Addition of DRAM, and suggest to upgrade on newer JetPack SW - Jetpack 4.6.5 with BSP 32.7.5 or Jetpack JP 5.1.3 with BSP 35.5 or later releases of Linux for Tegra (L4T) will include the required
change, or please contact with your local distributor for this requirement.
