Four 4K monitors with GTX 1080

Hi, everyone.

We are planning to set up four 4K monitors (or maybe four UHD LED TVs) with GTX 1080 for the BigBrain project (

Is it possible to use the maximum resolution under Ubuntu 14.04 ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You’re thinking of using an 8GB graphics card designed for general computing and playing games to drive four 3840 x 2160 monitors which are to display “an Ultrahigh-Resolution 3D Human Brain Model”?
