Four 4K monitors with GTX 1080

Hi, everyone.

We are planning to set up four 4K monitors (or maybe four UHD LED TVs) with GTX 1080 for the BigBrain project (http://science.sciencemag.org/content/340/6139/1472).

Is it possible to use the maximum resolution under Ubuntu 14.04 ? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You’re thinking of using an 8GB graphics card designed for general computing and playing games to drive four 3840 x 2160 monitors which are to display “an Ultrahigh-Resolution 3D Human Brain Model”?
