GMSL2 camera logging with Jetson TXx

Hi,

I want to build a simple video logging system that can read GMSL2 camera and log the raw image stream. I wonder if a Jetson TX2/TX1 platform can support this application. Moreover can some one suggest any material that can help me out in calculating maximum amount of data/sec one can log? I also want to identify the major bottleneck in the system.

    may I know which data you would like to calculated? for example, pixel clock?

  3. could you please refer to Sensor Driver Programming Guide to see if there is enough information.

Thanks for the answer.

I am not using any JetPack release yet neither I have any hardware at this stage. I was just trying to evaluate if it is possible to log a camera giving up to 6Gbps (on GMSL2) using a Jetson evaluation kit.
