GPU PASSTHROUGH WINDOWS SERVER NOT BOOTING AFTER NVIDIA GPU DRIVER INSTALLATION VSPHERE VMWARE

Dear Sir,

I have WINDOWS SERVER 2019 VIRTUAL MACHINE (VM) running on VSPHERE 7. I have one L4 GPU (24GB) configured in passthrough mode in VSPHERE on EXSI HOST using PCI PASSTHROUGH.

The Windows Server has 70 GB RAM , Video card Memory of 150 MB.

The NVIDIA L4 GPU was detected in the WINDOWS OS and a HYPEN mark came on it indicating

nvidia-smi command showed unable to initialize NVML, so installed the NVIDIA DRIVER

Driver Version: 529.19
On the Windows Server VM

Post installation of the NVIDIA DIREVER 529.19 the Operating Systems is not booting . The Windows OS is stuck at boot stage.

I have also configured the below setting on the VIRTUAL MACHINE

pciPassthru.use64bitMMIO=”TRUE”
pciPassthru.64bitMMIOSizeGB=48

However the OS is not booting , Any thing that is needed to be done at EXSI HOST or any other place like HOST BIOS

Regards,

Any update from anyone
