GSYNC/Adaptative sync unreliable

Hi, I have a freesync monitor that I have successfully configured to run in adaptative mode. But since the last driver/kernel releases GSYNC appears to no work 100% of the times.

I am running the following kernel/driver configuration:

  • Linux 5.3.1-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Sep 21 11:33:49 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux
  • Nvidia driver version: 435.21

It only starts running properly after i mess around with the gsync settings in the nvidia-settings panel after every reboot.

I need to uncheck/check all the gsync options in the nvidia-settings panel to be able to see the GSYNC enabled logo in the top right corner when i launch a game.

Still seems to be working normally for me on Fedora with Kernel 5.3.1.
Were any other components updated, like your window manager?

Fixed by running nvidia-settings --load-config at start.
