Half the framerate under wayland - Nvidia Quadro T2000

@amrits
Using Plasma or Gnome on wayland and and external monitor connected to the Nvidia Quadro T2000 (Thinkpad P1 Gen 2), using the computer is almost impossible with a choppy frame rate of maximum 30 FPS, although 60 Hz is set. This is the case since I had to switch from X11 to Wayland with Fedora 40. Tested with latest Nvidia driver 575.51.02, but the issue persists also with non Beta driver versions like the lates stable 570.153.02
Switching to X11 is not an option, since Plasma got pretty unusable including crashes when having set the external monitor as the primary one.

Great work, Nvidia - you rendered an 3500$ workstation notebook useless for productive work with an external monitor!

Hello, I think it’s a Kde plasma Issue, because I’m having same problem on two laptops with Intel and amd GPU. Anyway, there is a bug with similar characteristic to your bug.

It is the same issue with Gnome as well as KDE Plasma, as written in my first sentence.
Also the monitor used only supports native 60Hz. Nothing is set to 48Hz, as can be seen in the video. Refresh rate is correctly set to 60 Hz but the driver only renders 30Hz.
In addition, I have no Issue with the internal screen on the intel GPU. Which means, I am forced to use it without external monitor.
