Can't get higher refresh rate of my monitor on Wayland

I recently noticed that my monitor was no longer at a 75Hz refresh rate, only 60Hz at 1920x1080. I thought it was some problem with the Hyprland configuration, but everything was ok. I went into KDE Plasma to see if the problem persisted, and yes, it continued in the same way.

I went to my Windows in dual boot and saw that it was also at 1920x1080@75Hz, so I enabled my integrated GPU to see if it could use the 75Hz of my monitor in Arch Linux, and it worked. With that, I concluded that it is a problem with Nvidia, and I thought it had to do with the new version of the 580.105.08 driver, but it wasn’t that. I have a screenshot with a fastfetch taken a few days after the driver was released, and my monitor was at 75Hz. I don’t know what kind of update caused my refresh rate to become like this, but I searched for some solutions on the internet, but none solved the problem.

This is my machine specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8500G (12) @ 5.08 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Lite Hash Rate

I have this exact same problem. Nothing really else to add though if someone wants me to run some commands to debug this I’d be happy to :)

I just updated and I have the same problem. With nvidia driver version 580.105.05 my screen works perfectly but when I have the 580.105.08 drivers, 75Hz isn’t an option anymore. does anyone know how to fix that ?

and for info, screen : iiyama PLE2283H
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

The fact that the problem occurred in older driver versions explains why the 75Hz refresh rate previously worked even on version 580.105, but now it doesn’t. I tried to find the 580.105.05 package on archive.archlinux.org to test it on my system, but unfortunately they only have version 580.105.08 :/

@fhilipecrash Are you sure you don’t mean 580.95.05? I don’t think there ever was 580.105.05 only 580.105.08. See here.

You might try looking for 580.95.05 on archive.archlinux.org.
