Description
Similar to Geforce RTX 3060 Can't set refresh rate to maximum, monitor loses signal on driver versions above 550, the monitor reports “No Singal” when its refresh rate is set to any higher than 60Hz.
The monitor model is KTC H24T09P, its maximum refresh rate is 1920x1080@165, and when using Windows this issue does not appear.
Under KDE Wayland I have 50, 60, 120, 144 and 165Hz available for setting, but only 60 and 50Hz work, no significant frame drop is observed currently under these two refresh rates.
Windows reports this monitor is on the NVIDIA dGPU, by executing ls /sys/class/drm/ under linux it seems that the situation is the same (Where DP is on iGPU, and HDMI is on dGPU):
owo » ls /sys/class/drm/
card0 card0-DP-2 card1 card1-HDMI-A-1 renderD129
card0-DP-1 card0-eDP-1 card1-eDP-2 renderD128 version
