How do I render and save a png image with python?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this question.

I am a beginner with Omniverse and find myself unable to do something that seems like it should be relatively straightforward.

I would like to render the scene as seen through one of the cameras and save the image as a png file. I need to do this with a python script.

Could someone please explain how to do this or point me in the direction of the appropriate resources?
