How to get machine-id fixed

Hi,
I’m using Orin NX, JP 6.2.1 based. It looks like every time I upgrade the firmware, the machine-id changed. So I have many journal log directories.

In TX2 NX, I can get machine-id fixed by tegra-fuse-tool -M <id> .
Is there any way to get machine-id fixed in Orin NX? Thank you.

I’m not sure what’s machine-id you’re mentioned.
is it PARTUUID or BR_CID?

it is `/etc/machine-id`.

There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue anymore.

may I also know what’s your steps to upgrade firmware?
for instance, did you used dd to overwrite a partition? or, you’ve having capsuel_update to update bootloaders?
besides.. may I know the actual use-case for asking fixed machine-id?
