How to install an external clock.

Good day.

Is there any instruction for connecting an external clock to the TX2 dev kit.
I was looking for it here on the forum but either I was wrong looking or not here?

If so, please give tips on the required module.
I imagine powering the module from a coin battery.

Hi, what kind of clock do you want to add to dev kit? What is it for? There is RTC in module, it is powered by a 80000uF super cap on carrier board.

Hi,

Thank you for answer.

What is it for?

I am currently using RTC clock synchronization with NTP client.
I need an external RTC clock to work when I can’t access the network.

There is RTC in module, it is powered by a 80000uF super cap on carrier board.

I am testing the kernel version of Linux-Next so I thought that the easiest solution for the RTC module on the NVIDIA Jetson TX2 Developer Kit for me is to add the RTC module.

If questions of this type are irrelevant in this forum, accept my apology.

Not sure I am correct to understand your question, the RTC of dev kit can work for a duration when system power off. We don’t have suggestion on external RTC.

Thank you for your help.
Have a nice day.
