Hi,
I’m attempting to use the Docker CLI to run sdk manager.
I’ve already installed the ISO jetsoninstaller-r38.4.0-2025-12-30-17-00-37-arm64.iso successfully and booted the Jetson Orin Nano. It has an IP address 192.168.1.249 on my local Ethernet network. Now I use this command to install sdk manager and it continuously fails::
docker run -it --rm sdkmanager:2.4.0.13236-Ubuntu_22.04 --cli --action install --login-type devzone --product Jetson --target-os Linux --version 6.2.2 --host --target JETSON_ORIN_NANO_TARGETS --select ‘Host SDK Components’ --select ‘Jetson Linux’ --select ‘Jetson Runtime Components’ --deselect ‘Jetson SDK Components’ --deselect ‘Jetson Platform Services’
Hi,
This confused me.
Where did you find this ISO image? I don’t think this is supported for Jetson Orin Nano.
If you want to use SDK Manager to flash your Jetson Orin Nano, you need a host machine with windows10/11 or Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 for doing that.
It would be great if you can share the sdkmanager logs to us. So we can understand the issue better.
Hi Dongbox,
I started at the Jetson Orin Nano ‘Get Started’ page here:
Then on that page I clicked on the Instructions for Linux link.
That took me to the Jetpack SDK Download page here:
And then downloaded the ISO from this link:
https://developer.nvidia.com/downloads/embedded/L4T/r38_Release_v4.0/release/jetsoninstaller-r38.4.0-2025-12-30-17-00-37-arm64.iso
Which @linuxdev informs me is for Thor, not Nano. Oops! Now I”m looking for the correct ISO image. If your or anyone knows where to get it I’d be much obliged!
Thanks for the tip!
I don’t think ISO flashing method is supported for Orin ATM.
Please find the avaiable infomation here for JP 6.2.2:
Hi, thanks! I’ve gotten through all my setup issues and am loading models and proceeding to the next steps. I appreciate your help!
