When I use the nvidia-smi command to look at the device temperatures on my S870, I find the following:
rpl@tesla1% grep Temperature *.log
Intake Temperature : 29 C
Exhaust Temperature : 25 C
Temperature : 34 C
Temperature : 31 C
Intake Temperature : 29 C
Exhaust Temperature : 25 C
Temperature : 33 C
Temperature : 31 C
Clearly this is wrong; the exhaust cannot be cooler than the intake. It’s possible that the labels are just swapped, which is not a big problem, but it’s also possible that the sensors are producing bogus data. Is this a simple labeling error or something more serious?
