Is it possible to use SMBUS protocol on Nvidia jetson TX1?

Hi all,

I have an nvidia Jetson TX1 and i want to communicate with an UPS (OpenUPS2) by means of the SMBUS protocol. Is there any way to implement SMBUS in the Jetson? The SMBUS protocol is similar to the i2c protocol, so is it possible to change the i2c dtb to implements this protocol?
