Is the MCX556A-EDAT card compatible with PCIe Gen 3?

I haven’t so far been able to find definitively whether the MCX556A-EDAT card which has PCIe Gen 4 is backwards-compatible with PCIe Gen 3.

In other words, could I use such a card in a server that only have PCIe Gen 3 slots?
