ISP calibration file for JetPack-5.0.2

Hi,

We are developing a video sensor driver for the Jetson AGX Orin, we have an ISP calibration file for the IMX477, this file is working in JetPack-4.6 (Xavier AGX), but when trying to use this file with JetPack-5.0.2 Orin the GStreamer video capture seg. faults, when we remove the ISP calibration file the capture is successful.

  1. Could you please explain the differences between the ISP calibration file between JetPack-4.6 and JetPack-5.0.2?
  2. Is it possible to obtain a generic ISP file working with Jetson AGX Orin JetPack-5.0.2? (any video sensor is ok)

Since we already have a known to be working IMX477 calibration file we would like to modify the calibration file to work on JetPack-5.0.2 by doing a meld between this calibration file and a known to be working JetPack-5.0.2 calibration file, we do not have a problem by doing a meld with a generic ISP calibration file.

Regards.

Can’t just apply the config file from Xavier to Orin.
Need go through the tuning process for Orin.

Hi @ShaneCCC,

Thank you for your response.

At this moment we are focused on functionality, not on image quality, this is why we are asking for information about the ISP calibration files.

Question: Is its possible to obtain information about the new ISP files and its differences?

Since ISP calibration files are text, we are planning to use a JP4.6 working file and modify the text file for it to work on JP5 instead of having to do all the calibration again (for now).

Regards.

What I know is Xavier and Orin are having different NoiseTF control points.
