Issues with Netflix Streaming via Firefox/Chromium on NVIDIA Orin NX

Dear Team,

We are using a custom board based on the Jetson Orin NX module running JetPack 6.0, which includes Jetson Linux 36.3 (Kernel 5.15) and an Ubuntu 22.04 root file system.

I’m encountering an issue while trying to stream Netflix on my NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX. When attempting to watch Netflix, I get the error message:

“Pardon the interruption - Error code M771-10003”

This error occurs on both Firefox and Chromium browsers, and I suspect it’s related to DRM or Widevine Content Decryption issues.

Do you know whether Netfilx requires secure decoding? It is not supported on current Jetpack releases. If secure decoding is a hard requirement, the failure look sexpected.

I discovered from the reference queries that Netflix must safely decode its content. Is SW-based secure decoding? or the HW?
Which additional Nvidia platforms work with Netflix (or via a web a browser)? and what are the DRM support modules or how is DRM enabled?

Hi,
Secure decoding through hardware engines is not supported on Jetpack releases. You may look for a software solution.
