we are using RPI IMX219 on both camera port, same error.


Tested on Orin Nano/NX devkit, none of them work properly.
Additional note: They all work properly on JetPack6.0 (L4T36.3.0).

Hey i have faced this problem too in my initial days, try these to get recover, and yes try to mention camera name , it will be easy .

Reinstall gstreamer tools

sudo apt install --reinstall gstreamer1.0-tools

Restart nvargus-daemon

sudo systemctl restart nvargus-daemon

Update system packages

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

Add user to video group

sudo usermod -aG video $USER

Check for multiple instances of nvargus-daemon

ps -ef | grep nvargus-daemon

Kill any running instances of nvargus-daemon and start fresh

sudo pkill nvargus-daemon

sudo systemctl start nvargus-daemon

Run gst-launch with lower resolution and frame rate

gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc ! ‘video/x-raw(memory:NVMM), width=1280, height=720, framerate=15/1’ ! fakesink

Are you using CSI-camera? If yes then try running your camera from CSI-camera github repo by jetsonhacks . He has youtube video too on it.

I can confirm that the camera HW is good and it works fine on the Raspberry Pi.
Another strange thing is that on Jetson Orin Nano, I did the steps mentioned in amarnath.m and restarted the device but it didn’t improve, but I powered off for a while and it worked now.
But I switched to Jetson Orin NX and it still didn’t work, even though I did the steps mentioned in amarnath.m. .

I still think it could be connection problem.

I tested all four MIPI interfaces on two Jetson Orin NX, tried changing cables, camera modules, none of them worked. :(

Also I noticed some errors in the dmesg log, not sure if that has an impact on this.

Maybe flash the NX by sdkmanager and configurate it by jetson-io to try again.
