I’ve just done a clean install of Jetpack 6.2 onto a Orin NX 16GB module using the SDKManager. When looking at the settings for power options, there is no 40W option listed. I only have MAXN, 10W, 15W, 25W. My power supply is12V so I don’t believe it is related to this issue. When looking at the Jetson Power GUI, the GPU speed is still 918MHz and not the 1173MHz listed in the blog post about the update.
Any help on enabling 40W would be greatly appreciated, are there any custom settings I have to enable?
Hello,
I’ve just seen the following note on the pinned JetPack 6.2 announcement:
Note that SDK Manager supports default Super Mode flashing configuration only for Jetson Orin Nano developer kit.
It seems that manually flashing it is the only option to enable the new super mode, but since I already have a flashed jetson, is there a set of files that I can copy over and apply? Otherwise, is there any estimated time till the SDKManager will be able to flash with super mode?
I just manually flashed my Odin NX 16GB and rebuilt everything from scratch but it’s not there. I don’t know if you have to alter some file or something but I made sure to use the latest version which was finally available on Ubuntu 24.04 of SDK manager Not how I wanted to spend my day for zero net gain. According to this it’s supposed to go to 157TOPs from 100TOP’s. The option just isn’t there, same as before. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it hit 70°C in jetson-stat even when at MAXN either so it makes sense they can overclock a bit and still be safe.
