JetPack 6.2 support MAXN_SUPER for 8-20V Input to module, could be 5V/8A input to meet MAXN_SUPER(40W) for NX module?

Hi NV,
Happy New Year!

Latest JetPack 6.2 support MAXN_SUPER for 8-20V Input to module, could be 5V/8A input to meet MAXN_SUPER(40W) for Orin NX module on custom carrier board?

As devkit is powered from DC JACK with 5A rating(9-20V) using power switch to support advanced module as below, the only way is to increase voltage to 8V+ to meed 40W+ power consumption. so another question is here the VDD_IN to module is limited in 8-20V, could it be 8-36V?

thanks!

It can only be 8-20V.

So Orin NX will be working at 8-20V @10/15/25/40W, no longer 5V if using 40W and MAXN_SUPER(40W+)?
My question is how to be compatible with 25W and below considering the power input range change?

Yes, 8-20V could be for all modes and 5-20V could be for all but 40W super mode.

It depends custom design.

From hardware side, current Orin NX module could support 40W super mode, and we only have to re-design carrier board and flash with supermode SDK to support that. Am I right?

Yes, you are right.
