Jetson Nano custom board. SDMMC3 how to run up uSD/eMMC

I am a little confused when I read this message:

Hi FrankPCP, Sorry that I think we didn’t know how to help here since there is no experience for us to connect emmc on sdmmc3. If you refer to tx1 TRM ch32 SD/MMC controller, there is a section “Pinmux Options”, as you can see sdmmc4 is using a config named “emmccfg4”. However, sdmmc3 is using different config which cannot be changed.

Do I should assume that in newest Jetpact this problem is resolve so I can use eMMC on SDMMC3?

No, we don’t support extra emmc on sdmmc3.
No such case before. Only sdcard.

I wrong understood you. I understood that better is use eMMC on my carrier board than uSD card. But now I assume that you thought about eMMC on SOM.

The problem is somehow the “mmc0” on your board now is occupied by the extra sdcard slot you added on your custom board. Thus, when device tries to find file system over “mmcblk0p1”, it goes to that card to find and it fails. I would suggest you can use a emmc module first…

The most problem is that I need eMMC at least 32GB. The target solution is use SOM with eMMC 16GB and extra eMMC 32GB on carrier board. But now we must change solution to uSD card on carrier board.

I want to report solution for this topic. When I use SOM which contain eMMC then I didn’t have any problem with configuration (I use device tree configuration from above messages)
