Jetson Nano is set to start in the hard disk, check the visual interface and find that the resolution or scaling ratio is wrong. Click the setting and the system crashes and restarts in the visual interface, but the ssh connection is normal. (When the visual interface opens, there is an internal error popup in the system. I click to skip it.)
Hi,
what L4T/JetPack version is in use?
Also, what resolution/scaling ratio do you expect, and what monitor do you have?
Have you tried to re-flash the device?
hi,
JetPack version 4.6.3
Hi,
then how about this?
What does xrandr
give you?
Hi,
The display brand I used is Waveshare and the model is 7HP-CAPQLED.
xrandr display only has one resolution, 1920*1080. This resolution should be appropriate, but there is a problem in the display process that the font is too large and the picture is not fully displayed. I tried to use a PC monitor again and found that there is no such problem.
Refresh device I’m not sure what that means, I tried dconf reset -f/but it didn’t solve the above problem, it just reset some of my boot Settings and any software that opened Settings or visualizations would crash.
Hi,
then can you dump the Xorg log with the following debugging information?
#Add below option in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, 'Section "Device"'. Verbose mode logging will be shown in /var/log/Xorg.0.log
Section "Device"
...
Option "ModeDebug"
...
EndSection

Paste your /var/log/Xorg.0.log
here.

Hi,
looks like the resolution (1024x600) is correctly detected, but still we need the verbose log here,
please do this and either restart or run sudo systemctl restart display-manager
to let the setting take effect, and put the Xorg here again.
Normally with the verbose mode, you should see something like this
