There is a known issue in the nvidia-container.

When generating CDI specs on an Orin-based system with: sudo nvidia-ctk cdi generate --output=/etc/cdi/nvidia.yaml There is a bug in the mode detection logic that causes nvml to be used instead of the CSV files. You should be able to force the mode to csv by running: sudo nvidia-ctk cdi generate --output=/etc/cdi/nvidia.yaml --mode=csv To generate a CDI specification that you should be able to use from podman.
