Hello,
we plan to develop a device using the Jetson Orin Nano and stumbled upon the fact, that the Jetson Orin Nano has a relatively high power consumption on battery backup operation of 12 to 50µA (Source: Jetson-Orin-Nano-Series-Modules-Data-Sheet_DS-11105-001_v1.2.pdf (3.5 PMIC_BBAT, Page 31).
In the Worst-Case (50µA) an average CR2450 Battery (500mAh) would last just a little bit more than a year according to our calculations.
It seems like the power consumption has been adjusted for the Jetson Orin Nano (Regarding to the previous topic i found in this forum: https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/pmic-bbat-current-in-orin-nx/278262/3 ).
Usual Real Time Clocks i found consume about 1µA. So i wanted to ask, what else is powered by this pin on Jetson Orin Nano Module and if it is necessary to include a option to change in this short time? An other option we would consider to use a external RTC with lower consumption and not use the Battery on PMIC_BBAT at all if it wont affect any other functions of the Jetson Orin Nano module (which shouldn’t be the case as the Developer-Kit doesn’t use a Battery at all).
Thank you in Advance!
Eugen.
