Jetson Orin Nano Super Ethernet Connector Magnetics Spec for PoE Power

I have found PoE boards for 24W but none for the Boost Power Mode of 40 watts

I will make my own. BUT I want to use the on-board ethernet connector and PoE on board breakout. Since several 24W boards use that breakout, I need to know if the ethernet connector magnetics can handle 40W. I have not found any specs for that ethernet connector.

You just restated my problem.

I have NONE of the part information, otherwise I COULD determine if the windings in the magnetics for POE section could handle 40W.

Note I have completely similar looking ethernet Gbit Connectors with PoE breakout htat handle POE++ 90W, indeed its hard to find parts that just do 15 or 25W only - most DO handle up to 60W, but I don’t want to burn out my Nano.

So I still in the least, need the part number of that connector or at best its datasheet or specification used to build the Orin Nano Super. Not the bob smith ethernet termination components (although nice to have).

This is an FYI for the community.

There is no Amphenol ICC as it was acquired by TTI. There are no such part number G7412CE04K-004-H or family at TTI or thru any historical or current web searches.

After doing hours of functional/visual matching with RJ45 mag type connectors (the part does not have clips making it more unique) going thru manufacturers and with distributors (including Digikey and Mouser) AND investigating the alternative parts, my EWAG is that the connector is only good for 0.5A or a PoE using 48V PoE providing about 24W.

Thus with line and conversion losses, the PoE is barely usable for Jetson Orion Nano SUPER power max setting and certainly not in that mode with any peripheral connected electronics. Any such design would either require a PoE board with an RJ45 with PoE then jumpered to the Super Nano carrier ethernet or better design a custom carrier board with a higher current RJ45 magnetics ( -at or -bt compliant).
