I have designed a custom board which has 2 22-pin CSI outputs and I want to interface it with a Jetson Orin NX 16G.
I am a new user so I can only include 1 image, I am happy to provide more. In the image below is the bottom layer of the board (the cable I am using has connections on opposite sides: 22-pin 0.5mm pitch FPC Flex Cable for DSI CSI or HSTX - 10cm : ID 6035 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits ) . You will notice that pin 22 has no connection on my board, this is because I do not want to power the rest of my board via the CSI cable. The Jetson Orin NX is powering the rest of this board via USB C, so I assumed it was safe to connect the grounds.
I downloaded the design files for the Jetson Orin Nano (couldn’t find Orin NX) P3768_A04_PCB_assembly_drawing and P3768_A04_OrCAD_schematics(base_version). Based on these two files, I labeled the assembly drawing (assuming the arrow marks pin 1):
Even though the pin numbers on the Jetson Orin NX are reversed from the Raspberry Pi Zero, the left most pin on both boards is 3V3 (pin 1 on Jetson and pin 22 on the Pi).
Please check your camera module pinout for compatibility with Jetson Orin Nano/NX pinout. There are multiple versions of camera module pinout depending on the camera module and vendor.
