Hello everyone nVIDIA
Is data written in the EEPROM for RTL 8153 in the shipping state of Jonston_TX 1? (Vendor ID, MAC address, etc.)
- When it is written
Please tell me about the contents of the data
Is it possible to rewrite?
- When not written
Please tell me how to write
that’s all, Best regard.
I don’t know what is actually written where, but you can find more about MAC and MAC manipulation within the u-boot command line environment. You can attach a serial console, hit a key very early on to interrupt boot, and then type “help” on the command line to see options (such as printing environment, and this would give some MAC information). Hello linuxdev.
Your answer is not what I expected.
The MAC address should be saved inside the EEPROM connected to the SPI interface terminal of RTL 8153 (Ethernet).
This means that it is a component mounted on the board of the Jetson_TX1 module.
When using Jeston_TX1 as an OEM product, it should be the customer’s vendor ID and MAC address.
· Please tell me how to process these data in the manufacturing process of Jetson_TX1. (Do you write data? What is the content of the data?)
· Can you rewrite with Jetson_TX1’s serial console?
best regards.
