Please try installing kernel headers
sudo apt install linux-headers-$(uname -r)

Hello,

I had the same problem with MX 21 Linux, using KDE. Nitro 5, with GTX 1650TI, AMD-GPU Renoir.
I followed the guidelines for installing the owner NVIDIA driver. Installed.

Now the notebook, does not care. Only the HDMI port (4K monitor).
How to activate notebook, without taking the updated driver (nvidia) that is working great?
