Hi guys!
There is MSI GE76 laptop with NVIDIA RTX3080 video card worked under the control of Ubuntu 20. Both displays: the main display of the laptop and the second display DELL 24 1920/1080 worked successfully. The second display is connected via DP2 (sometimes connected via HDMI - it also worked successfully).
After updating Ubuntu to the version 21, the NVIDIA drivers disappeared. In this case, the additional display stopped working. If I boot Windows - both monitors work, else in Ubuntu - only the main monitor worked.
I installed the Nvidia drivers 495, but still only the main monitor worked.
Then I turned off safe mode in BIOS and something interesting happened!)
Now only the second monitor is working (Dell 24 ин DP2), but on the main display we can see one line text on a black background.
I tried install GDM and Lightdm, i tried other versions Nvidia drivers, i tried command sudo prime-select nvidia, but it is the same result.
