Latest mlx custom firmware file for single port ConnectX3 (mcx311a-xcat)

So at this point it is well established that mlxconfig cannot query/set any parameter for the mcx311a-xcat cards. Nvidia support people, please don’t tell me to do a reset on the nic firmware or reflash the firmware. Nothing works. Here’s a good thread about it:

The only solution to this is to generate a new image (using an mlx file from you) with a modified ini to enable sriov. This works but the latest mlx file we can find is 2.40.5030, while the latest bin in your website is 2.42.5000.

Nvidia, can you please provide us an mlx file for 2.42.5000? Everyone is looking for this and can you provide it once and for all?!

Because Nvidia does not care about consumers. They will not help consumers that have enterprise products without paying.

So there was no new updates, methods or firmware provided to get past this? I saw some use of IBM or HP/Oracle firmware, are those possible routes?
